For the publication of a college magazine, he started writing a brief story titled Obohela, impressed by the story of writer Ferdousi.

He started his career in film as Associate in Nursing assistant director and worked with administrators like Khan Ataur Rahman, Kazi Zahir and Subhash Dutta. Then, he wont to act as a proxy actor once actors of tiny roles couldn’t arrive in time at the set. He wont to play the roles in their absence.

He began his venture by taking part in the character of Ramzan within the play Shangshaptak that was airy in 1960.
